Recently refurbished the kings retains its traditional beauty, with our Oak floor boards, slate tiled floor, exposed beams and open inglenook fireplace, preserving the traditional pub atmosphere with 17th century local trade boards and memorabilia of the village.

Kings Outside Catering can cater for events and functions of all types and sizes, from weddings and corporate events to private parties. We provide quality and flexibility for any function with an added incentive on value for money. We can offer food, bar and entertainment for your function. We have fully trained bar staff and outside bar facilities, with draft, bottled beverages and a library of wines to suit your taste, that can be at no cost to you as we cover our costs on bar sales.

The Restaurant and Bar are nestled next to the sleepy river Ouse. The High Flyer offers good British food, which is available 7 days a week, together with a 2 for £10 menu Monday – Saturday. Food is served from 12noon until 10pm Monday to Saturday and 12noon till 9pm on Sundays.

You can also enjoy a carvery which is served every Thursday from 12noon – 4pm, and Saturday & Sunday 12noon – 9pm for £6.95.

There are 5 recently refurbished, comfortable en-suite bedrooms at the High Flyer. Prices are from £40 per room per night single occupancy, and £50 per room per night double occupancy. Breakfast is £5.
